This false narrative is amplified now in the midst of this global pandemic as women are subject to additional messages of “not letting themselves go” during quarantine.

Seeing numbers like this sheds light on 2 radical truths:

Intuitive Eating: It’s time to wave your final farewell to dieting...FOR GOOD and welcome in a relationship with food that’s pleasurable, nourishing, satisfying and free from guilt, punishment or shame. During this pillar, we’ll walk you through the 10 principles of Intuitive Eating so that you can finally make peace food and never diet ever again.
  2. Body Image Resilience: During this pillar, we will help you build inner fortitude which will allow you to loosen the grip that toxic diet and beauty culture messages have on your body, mind and life so that you can start living from a Sovereign place where NO ONE is able to tell you what is possible for you in the body you have today. You’ll learn how to disconnect your self worth from your external appearance and how to access your true value. 
  3. Embodiment: Most people go through life living outside of their bodies, unable to gain access to their emotions, intuition, desires or ever be fully present in their lives. Embodiment is about coming back into your body, experiencing her as a person, learning to process your emotions effectively and partnering with your body to experience your fullest potential.
  4. Homecoming: This pillar is deeply personal to each individual woman and will look different for everyone. Holly & Julie still laugh today about the way that they met. Julie came across Holly on Instagram and was really excited to see how much they had in common in terms of their passion for body positivity and intuitive eating. They both attended a coaching retreat in July of 2018 and though it felt super awkward to approach someone she had never met in person before, Julie approached Holly and told her that she loved following her on Instagram. They become instant fan girls of each other and friends!

Over the next year, they collaborated on projects and supported and encouraged each other in their individual business growth. In 2019, they both enrolled in a community challenge through Health Coach Institute to generate $10,000 in 10 weeks in their business. The challenge would culminate with 5 finalists speaking on stage and telling their stories in front of 700 people. Holly and Julie BOTH surpassed their income goal and became finalists. The experience of being finalists for this challenge brought them even closer as they celebrated their accomplishments. Julie’s incredible speech ended up earning her the grand prize which was such a powerful and transformative moment for her and a massive leap forward for the body positive movement.

Over the course of the next year, Julie & Holly remained close, and almost a year to the day after speaking on stage together, they realized that their joint voices could accomplish even more. Thus Homecoming was born.

She uses an intuitive and spiritual approach that guides her clients towards self trust, confidence and Sovereignty over their entire being; body, mind and soul. From this place, her clients are able to make self guided decisions and finally live the life they desire in the body they live in today.

Having grown up in a religious community that reinforced the belief that the “flesh was sinful” and her body was not to be trusted, Holly spent much of her life being disconnected from her body, desires and intuition. This manifested itself in painful body image issues, disordered eating and a belief that her body didn’t belong to her.

Through the power of coaching and finding the body positive movement, Holly was able to liberate herself from those harmful messages and reclaim her sense of Sovereignty so that she could finally accept her body, heal her relationship with food and remember once and for all that she belongs to herself. Holly has now devoted her work to helping women liberate themselves from oppressive systems so that they can reclaim their own Sovereignty.

Holly lives in Queens, NYC with her husband, Daniel, and pup, Gatsby. She is a self-proclaimed introvert, Enneagram 3, lover of nature, good food, wine, travel, podcasts and writing. Though she no longer identifies with a specific religious tradition, she feels deeply connected to the Universe and loves to explore her own spirituality through breath-work, journaling, mysticism and oracle cards.

Julie’s journey into coaching began with hitting her own rock bottom when she confronted her reality of bulimia and body dysmorphia in college. As she worked to overcome her struggles in her body and her war with food, Julie became passionate about helping other women who had struggled like she had.

This led her to The Ohio State University for graduate school, where she studied how mass media and interpersonal communication impact body image. A few years after she earned her Master’s degree, she discovered the coaching world and knew it was the perfect avenue to marry her knowledge, experience and passion to empower women to overcome their struggles through intuitive eating and body image work.

Julie won the Health Coach Institute’s 10k in 10 Weeks Challenge in April 2019, after sharing her story in front of 700 other coaches in Phoenix, AZ.
​
Julie lives in Columbus, Ohio with her husband Alex and instafamous (lolz)  Bernese Mountain dog, Maple! She’s an introvert often confused for an extrovert, manifestation/energy junkie, TV lover (Schitt’s Creek, anyone?), Beyonce and Taylor Swift groupie, newbie veggie garden mom and a big fan of cuddling up with basically any book Reece Witherspoon adds to her book club.
